CBDV

Cannabidivarin (CBDV) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It is a homolog of cannabidiol (CBD), with the side chain shortened by two methylene bridges (CH2 units).

CBDV has a number of potential therapeutic benefits, including:

  • Anticonvulsant: CBDV has been shown to reduce seizures in animal studies and in clinical trials with patients with epilepsy.

  • Antipsychotic: CBDV has been shown to reduce symptoms of psychosis in animal studies and in clinical trials with patients with schizophrenia.

  • Anti-inflammatory: CBDV has been shown to reduce inflammation in animal studies.

  • Anxiolytic: CBDV has been shown to reduce anxiety in animal studies and in clinical trials with patients with anxiety disorders.

  •

CBDV is generally safe and well-tolerated, but it can cause some side effects, such as dry mouth, dizziness, and fatigue. It is important to talk to your doctor before taking CBDV, especially if you have any underlying health conditions or are taking any other medications.

Please note that this is just a general overview of CBDV. For more information, please consult with a healthcare professional.
